DES MOINES, Iowa — June 11, 2019 — BirdDogHR™, an Arcoro company and the leader in talent management solutions for the construction, engineering and skilled trades industries, has announced its new partnership with Clarus Solutions, LLC (Clarus). Clarus provides work opportunity tax credit (WOTC) software for companies that hire job seekers who face employment barriers. Clarus customers will have the ability to add the BirdDogHR Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Onboarding modules to their WOTC solutions, and BirdDogHR will also offer WOTC solutions to new and existing customers.
Through an integration with the BirdDogHR Onboarding module, BirdDogHR customers will be able to use Clarus to easily identify and document WOTC-qualified candidates and new hires. BirdDogHR customers can enjoy tax credits ranging from $1,200 to $9,600 per employee per year, potentially saving up to 40% of their recruiting budgets while diversifying their workforce. In addition, Clarus customers that implement the BirdDogHR ATS and Onboarding modules will see costs of recruiting and onboarding related activities decrease due to improved recruiting and HR efficiency and compliance. In a recent case study, Metropolitan Mechanical Contractors used the BirdDogHR ATS to convert a 20 hour process to only 30 minutes.
“We are happy to introduce Clarus customers to the benefits BirdDogHR can provide to their hiring processes, and vice versa” said Philip Wentworth, Jr., President at Clarus. “The ATS and Onboarding modules fit the needs of any organization that is struggling to find and keep top talent. With their robust job distribution functionalities and streamlined candidate-to-new-hire experience, working with BirdDogHR will aid in our customers’ success.”
“Our partnership with Clarus will help our customers save money while building a great team,” said Todd Skokan, President & CEO of BirdDogHR. “Through Clarus, BirdDogHR customers can receive tax credits that are available and reinvest their WOTC returns into their recruiting budgets for further growth. This is especially beneficial for federal contractors who must meet certain diversity requirements.”
Civil Constructors, a premier site grading and site utility contractor based in Franklin, Tennessee utilizes both BirdDogHR and Clarus solutions. “WOTC is a natural fit in the recruiting process, and we’re excited about this partnership between our current providers, BirdDogHR and Clarus,” said Wendy Bradley, Director of Human Resources at Civil Constructors. “We had to stop a previous WOTC program due to time constraints. Now with Clarus, we recently hired 8 employees and received nearly $20,000 in tax credits in one day.”
BirdDogHR and Clarus will be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, June 25 to show BirdDogHR users how they can integrate the BirdDogHR Onboarding module with Clarus WOTC programs. Register for the webinar to learn more.
