BirdDogHR Achieves Strong 2017 Finish and Builds Momentum for 2018

Company maintains 95% customer retention while adding hundreds of new customers and expanding the software platform in unprecedented year of growth

DES MOINES, Iowa – January 23, 2018 – BirdDogHR™, the leader in talent management solutions for the construction, engineering and skilled trades industries, has reported all-around company growth and expansion for the 2017 fiscal year. The company was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies while adding new employees to every functional area. The company also generated 30% revenue growth and added 233 new customers bringing the company’s customer total to more than 1200 U.S. companies.

BirdDogHR’s growth and momentum was powered by strong product enhancements released via the cloud in four major releases. New product focus areas included enhanced flexibility with the robust and unique change request management and the ability to conduct project-based performance reviews; enhanced communication flows in the BirdDogHR ATS and Performance modules; and an expanded security focus resulting in BirdDogHR completing a Soc 2 Type 2 audit for its processes and facilities. As BirdDogHR works with larger companies it is staying ahead of the security features larger organizations require.

Sustained hyper-growth has become a constant at BirdDogHR as the company was named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies for the third consecutive year. The company had its highest jump in rank yet, moving up more than 1,200 spots to #2308 on the 2017 list. That revenue growth is powered by adding customers in BirdDogHR’s core verticals. BirdDogHR adoption is especially strong in the company’s core vertical of construction, with 46 of the ENR 400 companies now using the BirdDogHR Talent Management System.

Most importantly, BirdDogHR’s sustained year over year growth can be attributed to the company’s loyal customer base. In 2017 BirdDogHR also hosted its inaugural User Event in October, co-located with the Associated General Contractors of America’s HR and Training Professionals Conference. For the third year in a row the company achieved 95% customer retention, and 77% of customers have been with BirdDogHR for at least 2 years. The average new client is purchasing more than one module to build its integrated talent management system. As an example, BirdDogHR’s largest federal contractor customer with over 40,000 employees has added the BirdDogHR Learning Management System (LMS) to its use of the BirdDogHR ATS.
