BirdDogHR Partners with EMP Trust to Deliver Seamless Onboarding Experience with Integrated E-Verify

New BirdDogHR Onboarding offers Department of Homeland Security certified solution to confirm employment eligibility

DES MOINES, Iowa - August 10 - BirdDogHR™, the leader in talent management solutions for the construction, engineering and skilled trades industries, is excited to announce its new integration with EMP Trust, a compliance solution that will verify employment status of newly hired employees.  U.S. federal law requires companies to employ only individuals who may legally work in the United States – either U.S. citizens, or foreign citizens who have the necessary work authorization. Through BirdDogHR Onboarding and the integration with EMP Trust, employers can electronically verify that their newly hired employees are legally authorized to work in the United States via the E-Verify system.

E-Verify is an internet-based system operated by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in partnership with the Social Security Administration and allows employers to confirm an individual’s employment eligibility in the United States. E-Verify is easy to use, fast and provides a response within seconds from DHS E-Verify servers as a background service.

“We have been pleased to work with BirdDogHR and the core management team over the last few months. BirdDogHR has exciting talent management software that will add value to our HRIS Platform and will help in employee acquisition and performance management,” said Thomas Mathew, Sr. Director of EMP Trust. “We look forward to partnering with BirdDogHR to help customers ensure compliance during the pre-hiring and hiring stage.”

“Many of our customers are federal contractors so recruiting and hiring compliance is critical. EMP Trust is a trusted and proven resource for accessing the E-Verify system. Our customers will save time with instant verification getting new employees into their jobs quicker, while remaining compliant,” said Todd Skokan, president and CEO of BirdDogHR.
